Cross Country

This is a FREE four-event series for 4th and 5th graders in the Black Hills named for Loren Kambestad, a teacher and coach who started the program over 30 years ago.

Events will be held on Monday afternoons with the same schedule each week:

• 4th grade girls @ 4:30pm
• 4th grade boys @ 4:45pm
• 5th grade girls @ 5:00pm
• and 5th grade boys at 5:15pm.

Courses will be approximately 1000 meters in length. All participants will receive a ribbon and refreshments at each event.

We ask each runner to bring the number bib given to you at your first event to all remaining events.

The locations for the series are:

• September 13: Raider Park at Stevens High School
• September 20: South Middle School
• September 27: Meadowbrook Elementary School
• October 4: Central High School
